FROM THE PAST CONTEST

We will soon be starting our 65th line of fabrics for Moda. We could not have done it without all of you. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
.   One of my favorite lines Lynn and I have done is Canoe Country. It was a spring line from 2007. It had the scenes we love to do and our most favorite color pallet.  The pillow was done by This & That Patterns using the center of the panel. The quilt was done by a small pattern who moved on to take a full time job.
The other quilt is also a This & That from our Christmas line North Woods Botanical.

We are giving away 10 prizes of Charm packs and a  Layer cake. All you have to do is head to the bottom of our page and comment on your  favorite Holly Taylor fabric line. We will do a random select from the entries received. Names will be selected by December 15.  I will notify you by e mail and send a request for your address. Good luck.
Next month we will be taking you along with us as we create our next line. We will try to show you the process we use to design.    Happy quilting, Eileen

  4. My favorite line is from numerous years ago, I can't remember the line but it had a sage green background with cream pinecones over it. Loved it and made a quilt using that piece as my background and the dark greens with it, it is still a favorite today. Please continue your wonderful designs!!!

  5. Just getting familiar with your fabrics -- started collecting some this summer. Planning a canoe country quilt but probably won't start on it until after Christmas. Also planning on redecorating our camper using canoe country for curtains. Hoping to do a table runner or wall hanging with quilt MN. Thanks for your beautiful colors and patterns!

  6. I like the Dragonfly line. It reminds me of a summer night right after sunset: still warm, but with a cool breeze coming in.

  13. I'm brand new to quilting, caught the bug last January when I had my sister, cousin and their quilting friends to my lakeside home for a "sew-in" week-end - they stitched and I cooked for them. Wasn't long after that when I treated myself to a VIking sewing machine as a retirement gift to myself....and yes, I now have the fabric stash bug! I'm not familiar with all of your lines, but love the cabin, lakeside, canoe themes - looking forward to becomning more familiar with all of your designs!

  18. I'm having an aweful time posting comments on blogs lately. I'll give it one more try. Anyways, my favorite would be either the Classics line (which fits in very well in my log house!) or Northwoods Botanical. So far, I've made curtains, pillows, and a throw out of these two lines. Of course, cardinals are my favorite bird too. I do not have any of Northern Cardinal, but it sure is calling me!

  28. Hello,
I found your blog thru This and That by Sheri Falls, also.

I made a tablerunner from your Northern Cardinal design because I live in California where Cardinals are not seen, which is similar to another commentor "mariebeers".

Would love to win the fabric and add it to my stash. Thanks for the opportunity.
