Trails End Batiks
We will have a new line of batiks that will be in the stores this month. This quilt was made by Doug Leko of Antler Quilt Design. It is called Woodland Stream AQDO222. I wish you could see it in person, it is so beautiful. Sorry for my pictures, I am probably the most amateur photographer I know.
We thought it would be of interest to you to see how batiks are produced. Seeing this made us so appreciative of every piece that is stitched into our quilts, to know how hard someone painstakingly worked to make that one little piece of fabric. We hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we did.

Don't forget, our contest runs for one more week. Winners will be selected next Monday, September 24th.
Until then, Eileen & Lynn

That is such an interesting video, isn't it? I love seeing what Doug makes with your fabric. He is quite talented!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, and to see all the work that goes into producing the
ReplyDeletebatik fabrics. Thanks for sharing it with us and am looking forward
to seeing your collection.
